Privately held and Canadian owned, AMG Metals Inc. has been a market leader in Sign Structures, Bridges and Light Poles since 1980, supplying projects in Canada and the USA. We have the ability to do the job from start to finish; design, engineer, and build, with the ability to meet required specifications through advanced FEA modelling, complemented with the latest in sophisticated 3D modelling/detailing software.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team in a fast-paced, light industrial environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing general warehouse duties including picking, packing, sorting, and material handling while ensuring a safe and organized workspace.

Job Responsibilities

Receive, unpack, and sort incoming materials and supplies. Pick and prepare orders for shipping using pick lists Pack items securely and accurately for shipment. Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other equipment as required. Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies. Support shipping and receiving as needed. Other job duties as required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics experience is an asset. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and basic math skills. Comfortable working in a team and independently. Forklift license (counterbalance, reach) is an asset but not required. Good communication and time management skills.
