Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a timely and efficient manner while ensuring the highest level of customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellent service.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to scheduled routes. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including invoices and receipts. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Handle any customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper loading of vehicles for deliveries. Assist in training new drivers on company policies and best practices for delivery operations.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for interacting with customers. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently. Experience with budgeting and vendor management is a plus. Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar software is advantageous. Previous experience in clerical or office roles is beneficial, particularly in supervising or front desk capacities. Must be able to lift packages up to 50 pounds as needed during deliveries.

Pay: $17.40-$20.00 per hour
