Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to the overall success of our distribution processes. This position involves various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management, requiring both physical stamina and technical skills.

Duties

Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes to move products safely and efficiently. Perform heavy lifting and load/unload shipments as required. Engage in order picking and fulfillment processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products. Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock movements. Conduct packaging of products for shipment while adhering to quality standards. Assist in shipping & receiving operations, ensuring all incoming and outgoing goods are processed correctly. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.

Experience

Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes. Familiarity with mechanical operations and heavy equipment operation is advantageous. Experience with order picking, packaging, shipping & receiving is essential. Knowledge of AS400 or similar inventory management systems is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift. Background in manufacturing or construction can be beneficial for understanding operational workflows.
