We are seeking an experienced and reliable

Warehouse Assistant

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for expertly maneuvering industrial trucks to transport goods, load/unload materials, and manage inventory.

The Role:

Warehouse Assistant

Location: Oakville, Ontario

Position Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30AM - 3:00PM, with occasional overtime

Primary Responsibilities:

The position will involve the following tasks:

Provide support for the shipping and receiving department Operate tow motor/forklift or other equipment to load, unload, and transport materials, parts, supplies and products throughout the manufacturing plant Storing and stacking materials according to company standards Inspect tow motor daily to ensure it is in good working condition Report any mechanical issues with the tow motor to the supervisor Maintain accurate records of materials and products moved using the tow motor Verifying/identifying parts and/or materials; reporting shortages or damaged materials Adhere to safety regulations while operating the tow motor

Requirements:

3-5 years of experience operating tow motors or similar equipment valid tow motor forklift certification ability to read and interpret S&R related documents and safety regulations physical ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy loads of up to 50lbs for extended periods of time proficient in basic math skills for inventory and record-keeping purposes

Personal Skills:

good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment ability to prioritize and plan tasks efficiently excellent organizational skills ability to follow written and verbal instructions strong attention to detail and safety protocols
