The Position: Warehouse Assistant

Key Responsibilities:Track inventory, and ensure staff sign out of equipment/ supplies Pick up gear, parts, and other supplies as needed Maintain areas around shop, yard, chemical shed Complete minor repairs to gear, setting up gear from crews Assist with helping tool up trucks with gear Keep warehouse clean and organized Drive trucks to various shops for repairs Assisting shop mechanics in yard as needed Other duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Expectations:High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Class 5 driver's license, and Driver's Abstract, with less than 6 demerits. Applicant must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. Valid First Aid with CPR or willingness to obtain. Ability to work as part of a team in physically demanding environments. Motivated to learn independently and from team members, with strong time management skills. Proficiency in operating and maintaining tools and equipment. Comfortable working in noisy environments with proper PPE. Willingness to work long hours, overtime, and participate in on-call rotations during emergencies.
