Warehouse & Assembly Specialist

Techtop Canada Inc. is a leading wholesale distributor of electric motors and mechanical power transmission equipment based in Oakville, Ontario. We have six locations across Canada and are currently seeking a Warehouse & Assembly Specialist for our Calgary, AB distribution center.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an ambitious and hardworking professional for a Warehouse & Assembly Specialist position to join our team in Calagry. This individual must me be self-motivated, can work independently and in a team environment, and have great attention to detail. Along with regular warehouse duties this position also offers a unique engaging high technical aspect to assemble and modify industrial motors and gearboxes.

Position Duties:

Complete outbound shipments by picking and processing orders. Receive inbound stock, process, organize and store away. Modify electric motors, gear reducers and other electro-mechanical components as required (training will be provided).

Maintain and organize the warehouse to best utilize the available space. Able to operate a Narrow Aisle Reach Truck and a Counterbalance fork truck. Attend to customer service pick up area. Be highly motivated and have exceptional attention to detail. Must be able to comfortably lift 50 lbs. from ground to bench level. Keep a professional appearance and attitude and treat stock with care. Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment. Provide occasional support to the Branch Manager by answering incoming calls as needed.
Ideal Candidate:

This position is best suited for persons with warehouse experience and a mechanical aptitude.
You should have basic computer skills and excellent customer service with a willingness to learn and grow with the company.

Forklift driving experience is required

. You must also be able to stand for long periods of time and work well both independently as well as in a time sensitive team environment.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Salary commensurate with experience Eligibility for semi-annual bonus system Manulife company benefits plan (80% coverage), 100% company paid (after three-month probationary period) 3 weeks' vacation entitlement per year
