Candidate profile (title) What you\'ll need to have

Candidate profile (text) - Default language \xe2\x80\xa2 You have a degree or diploma in Business Administration. If not, 1 or more years of administrative or IKEA experience works too!

  • You love having a flexible schedule.
  • You understand the needs and expectations of customers and co-workers.
  • You love working in a fast pace distribution or office environment
  • You have amazing attention for details and can effortlessly juggle multiple competing priorities while keeping a smile on your face.
  • You are a total people-person and can strike up a conversation easily and build rapport with co-workers, managers and suppliers.
  • You are a quick learner and self-motivated. You don\'t mind working alone or with a team!
  • Previous distribution/ warehouse experience is an asset but not necessary!
Key responsibilities (title) A day in your life with us

Key responsibilities (text) \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and organize inbound and outbound flow of trailers and door assignments
  • Organizing \'shunting\' process for outbound trailers
  • Provide inventory control support and collaborate with inventory team with inventory cycle counts and reporting.
  • Manage outbound paperwork and completion of systematic processes, utilizing multiple software programs (Astro, Gemini, Centiro)
  • Prepare and maintain required reporting including operational KPI\'s.
  • Create an environment where the IKEA culture is a living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and the market.
  • Take responsibility for and participate in projects and other tasks as assigned.
