Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, hospitality, and customer relations within a fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages Handle cash and credit card transactions with proper cash handling procedures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations Assist in food preparation and kitchen operations as needed to support team efficiency Upsell menu items to increase sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Ensure guest needs are met promptly, addressing any concerns with professionalism and courtesy Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively Basic math skills for order entry, billing, and cash handling purposes Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper serving techniques Experience in food industry roles including serving, cashiering, or hospitality is beneficial Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role

Pay: From $15.80 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
