As a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will champion all areas of quality governance and oversight in alignment with operational and business initiatives. The VP, Quality is responsible for contributing and adhering to the organization\xe2\x80\x99s global quality strategy to achieve the best service standards and outcomes for customers and the company.

Reporting to the EVP, General Counsel & Corp Secretary you will be tasked with measuring KPIs associated with quality; employing continuous improvement strategies; while partnering with other functional areas to nurture a strong quality culture and continue to evolve a world-class quality program across the business.

In order to be considered for this role, you have the following capabilities:

• Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills and ability to navigate across the organization
• Proven ability to develop and build high-performing teams and strong cross-functional stakeholder relationships
• Ensure adherence to the appropriate policies and procedures in place to support quality oversight of the operations
• To coach and develop employees to build a strong leadership pipeline
• Apply critical and strategic thinking while balancing tactical issues to make quick and informed decisions
• Navigate through automated systems (i.e., ERP, eQMS, etc.)
• Have a strong grasp of current industry trends, standards, and expectations to be able to adopt best practices

Keys to success:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Engineering, Science, Technical discipline, or a related field
• Progressive experience in a Quality Operational environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry and/or consumer-packaged goods industry
• Excellent leadership skills and experience presenting to or being part of the SLT
• Experience in manufacturing operations and controls, laboratory operations, and quality systems within a GMP environment
• Experience with interacting with domestic and international health authorities (Health Canada, FDA, etc.)
• Knowledge of the European and International regulatory environment

The company has several locations/facilities in and around the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) as well as in Europe. You can determine your schedule of working both from home and at the local facilities based on needs. Occasional global travel may be needed depending on circumstances and meetings.
