Vice President - People & Culture

Full Time - Remote/Hybrid

The VP People & Culture is a member of the Credit Union's Executive team reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The role is responsible for overseeing and advancing our Credit Union's people strategy and organizational development. This includes cultivating a culture of inclusion and innovation. while driving talent acquisition, performance management, compensation/payroll, employee engagement, leadership development and overall Human Resource operations. The VP People & Culture will align with and support the Credit Union's mission, vision and values with the aim of creating a high-performing, value-driven organization that attracts, retains, and inspires exceptional talent.



Preferred qualifications include, but are not limited to:


Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience CPHR designation and Change Management certification preferred 10 plus years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive or senior leadership role. Strategic, dynamic, empathetic, and visionary leader Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to driving results Successful track record of managing, coaching and motivating employees High level of Integrity and confidentiality Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
