Aplin has partnered with a dynamic company that is launching an innovative new product into the beverage market. Their upcoming product is a revolutionary drink designed to enhance immunity and support muscle repair without the jitters of caffeine. Unlike traditional protein drinks, theirs is sediment-free, ensuring a smooth and refreshing experience for their consumers.

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Vice President of Sales to lead their sales efforts in Alberta for this groundbreaking product. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with a couple of years of management experience. Preference will be given to someone within the beverage industry selling to major retail stores.

As their company grows, there will be opportunities to expand the sales team, and candidates with the ability to bring in talented sales professionals will be valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive the successful launch and ongoing growth of their new product.
  • Grow the territory and lead and mentor a sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and other stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Collaborate closely with product development, and operations team to ensure alignment and effectiveness of sales initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the beverage industry, with a track record of success.
  • 1-2 years of management experience, demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Proven experience selling into major retail chains in AB
  • Existing connections and relationships within the beverage industry and retail landscape.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving innovation and growth.
