As a company in the process of expanding our team, we are looking for a Vice President of Real Estate to contribute to our continued growth and success.

Overview and Responsibilities:


The Vice President of Real Estate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end coordination and execution of AviSina's commercial and residential development projects, leasing, and property operations. Reporting directly to ownership, the VP will lead project and asset execution from concept through completion, including managing consultants, liaising with general contractors, negotiating leases, and overseeing tenant improvements and lease-up strategies. Other responsibilities include:

Coordinate design and construction drawings for both residential and commercial properties, ensuring consistency with project vision and budget. Manage lease negotiations and tenant relationships for both retail and residential components. Oversee property management and address operational issues for existing properties and tenants. Liaise with architects, engineers, and general contractors through all phases of project execution. Lead commercial and residential tenant improvement (TI) work, including budgeting, scheduling, and delivery. Support project feasibility analysis, leasing strategies, and long-term asset planning. Collaborate with internal teams on project approvals, design coordination, and development timelines. Drive the lease-up and stabilization of new commercial and mixed-use developments. Represent the company with key external stakeholders, including municipalities, brokers, consultants, and vendors. Implement and maintain systems and processes that improve project execution, leasing velocity, and tenant satisfaction.

Qualifications/Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Urban Planning, or a related field 10+ years of progressive experience in real estate development, asset management, and leasing Proven track record coordinating commercial and residential development projects from design through occupancy Strong knowledge of lease negotiation, TI coordination, construction management, and municipal approvals Experience managing external consultants, general contractors, and internal project teams Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills Strong problem-solving ability and hands-on approach to managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high level of ownership Experience with mixed-use and multi-family projects is a strong asset
