The VP, Operations, Corporate Stores will oversee all Regional Managers across Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland.Responsibilities, including but not limited to:\xc2\xb7 Manage and oversee all corporate store operations across Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland.\xc2\xb7 Manage and oversee all corporate store operations for stores in additional provinces as applicable.\xc2\xb7 Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives.\xc2\xb7 Build and maintain relationships with all executive functions, franchisees, external partners, and vendors in coordinating and implementing tactical and strategic initiatives at store level.\xc2\xb7 Regularly report on retail productivity, sales and profit, while ensuring that standards of service excellence are continuously met and improved upon.\xc2\xb7 Manage Online business, ensuring successful integration with local store needs.\xc2\xb7 Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity in line with budgeted targets.\xc2\xb7 Continually optimize operational processes and performance, implementing solutions for improvement where needed.\xc2\xb7 Develop and manage performance goals and long-term operational plans to ensure the achievement of all budgeted targets.\xc2\xb7 Where necessary, oversee the integration of acquired stores, both internal acquisitions and acquisitions of third-party businesses.\xc2\xb7 Efficiently control all operational expenses through evaluation and negotiation of contracts with vendors and external partners\xc2\xb7 Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.\xc2\xb7 Devise strategies to ensure growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs.\xc2\xb7 Work with internal executive partners to produce smooth and efficient workflow and more cost-effective business processes.\xc2\xb7 Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are adhered to.\xc2\xb7 Interpreting, assisting, and advising employees and managers regarding employment policy and procedures.\xc2\xb7 Work closely with human resources to lead the team with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.\xc2\xb7 Performs other related duties as assigned.\xc2\xb7 Assess and recommend methods to maximize and regularly report on retail productivity, sales and profit, so that standards of service excellence are continuously met and improved upon.\xc2\xb7 Work closely with human resources to assess talent and make recommendations to structure the team and select talent.\xc2\xb7 Where necessary, provide support to the wider business in navigating the company\'s relationships with labor unions.\xc2\xb7 Additional reports as necessary for the potential integration of new provinces into the company\'s brand.Education, Experience, and Skills:\xc2\xb7 At least 7- 10 years of progressive experience in a managerial position.\xc2\xb7 Strong business acumen; including retail math and P&L responsibility\xc2\xb7 Experience leading retail store management towards successful development of meaningful grassroots action plans to achieve sales, profitability and talent targets\xc2\xb7 Develop and implement programs to achieve Retail excellence\xc2\xb7 3-5 years\' of experience in the cannabis industry, with a deep understanding of regulatory compliance and operational challenges.\xc2\xb7 Strong leadership, people development, mentoring and coaching abilities.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated in-depth knowledge in financial analysis\xc2\xb7 Strategic thinking, honesty, and ethics in business dealings.\xc2\xb7 Proven track record of leadership and success in scaling operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.\xc2\xb7 Strong analytical skills and experience using data-driven insights to inform operational strategies and decision-making.\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.\xc2\xb7 Ability to thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved in all aspects of the business.\xc2\xb7 Passion for the cannabis industry and a commitment to promoting responsible consumption and community engagement.\xc2\xb7 Proficient in Excel, Word and Powerpoint\xc2\xb7 Ability to travel to various retail locations across Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and NewfoundlandWhite Ash Group and the companies it represents are Equal Employment Opportunity employers that values the strength of diversity within the workplace.
