Overview

We are hosting an Art Gallery for Long Nguyen on July 27th at our carpentry shop!

We need a few outgoing

volunteers to help us make sure the event goes along smoothly! Its a short shift from 12:00pm-4:00pm but it gives you a chance to be part of a creative, community based event. It's a great addition to your resume if your into the arts or you just want to show you're community minded.

Our Event supports the Greater Victoria Art Scene! You'll be supporting a local artist and helping bring the community together around something beautiful.

For your assistance we will offer a food voucher and one free mocktail crafted by our bartender! We will also include one our companies shirts and a professional reference letter for your future job/volunteering opportunities. You'll meet different artists and professionals - it's a great way to make connections!

Responsibilities

Assist in setup, cleanup, takedown of the event. Handling the door for ticketed entrance. Assist the bartender with drink orders. Assist with the food sales. Handle debit sales.

Qualifications

Able to lift more than 50lbs Good customer service Prior festival/event volunteering experience is preferred but not necessary Dress in decent casual attire for the day of the event Food handling experience

Pay: $1.00 per day
