Description:



This is a

volunteer position

designed for individuals interested in gaining hands-on administrative experience while supporting community-based programs and events.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is well organized, and is eager to contribute to a dynamic, multicultural environment. The Volunteer Administrative Assistant will support daily administrative tasks and act as a liaison between the organization, its members, and the broader community.

Responsibilities:



Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external inquiries Support email communication and general administrative tasks Assist with event and workshop coordination (logistics, materials, attendance tracking) Process rental inquiries and maintain related documentation Support communications and promotional tasks in collaboration with the marketing team Liaise with community members, partners, and participants to provide information and support Assist with databases and help maintain accurate, up-to-date records Attend and/or support Latincouver events and activities, including preparation, onsite support, and other related duties Assist in creating and editing agreements, documents, and templates

Requirements and skills:



Previous experience in administration, customer service, or a related role. High school diploma required; post-secondary education or training in administration, business, or related fields preferred. Experience supporting events or workshops, including logistics and participant communication. Comfortable working with emails, documents, and basic digital tools Previous experience liaising with diverse stakeholders such as community members, partners, and vendors (an asset) Strong written and oral communication skills Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Ability to work with diverse communities and stakeholders Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable Ability to work independently and as part of a team Advanced English Level (Spanish language is an asset).
Please note: Tasks and responsibilities may be flexible and can vary based on the organization's evolving needs

Working hours

: 15-20 hours per week (3 months)
