Volunteer Director of Education (Mat Leave Cover - August to January, Potential to Extend)

About the Role:

The Director of Education ensures that NSDA provides relevant, evidence-based, and engaging educational opportunities to its members. As a temporary maternity leave cover, you will maintain continuity of programs, communications, and member support while also seeking new opportunities aligned with community interests.

Key Responsibilities:

Take over pre-existing educational opportunities to ensure continuity Maintain the Director of Education (DOE) email account, responding to member inquiries Seek new educational opportunities based on member interest, community trends, or emerging best practices Collaborate with other Directors to align education with NSDA's overall goals Ensure workshops, webinars, and resources are accessible and relevant to diverse members

Strong interest in education, training, or professional development (experience an asset) Excellent organizational and communication skills Creativity in identifying learning opportunities A reliable and collaborative team player committed for the 6-month term.
