Job Overview


The Volunteer Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and enhancing the volunteer program within our organization. This position involves recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers to ensure they are effectively contributing to our mission. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills, enabling them to engage and motivate volunteers while managing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities



Recruit and onboard volunteers by promoting opportunities and conducting interviews. Develop training programs to educate volunteers about their roles and responsibilities. Supervise and support volunteers during events and activities, ensuring a positive experience for both volunteers and participants. Manage volunteer schedules, assignments, and performance evaluations. Collect data on volunteer engagement and program effectiveness to inform future initiatives. Organize community outreach efforts to market the volunteer program and attract new participants. Collaborate with other departments to integrate volunteer efforts into broader organizational goals. Provide public speaking presentations to promote the volunteer program at community events.

Proficient in administrative tasks, including scheduling, record keeping, and reporting. Effective project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously. Ability to recruit, train, and retain volunteers through effective communication and support. Competence in data collection methods for assessing program impact and volunteer satisfaction.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
