The Position

Resound School of Music is looking for passionate and reliable

Voice Teachers

to teach

in-home private singing lessons

throughout Vancouver, BC. If you love helping others find their voice and express themselves through music, this is a great opportunity to grow your teaching career in a flexible, rewarding role.

Part-time and full-time opportunities available

Lessons typically take place

weekday afternoons and evenings (after 3:00 PM)

, including East Van, Mount Pleasant, Kitsilano, Dunbar, Kerrisdale, Shaughnessy, Killarney, and surrounding areas

Job Responsibilities

As a

Voice Teacher / Vocal Coach

, you will:

Travel by vehicle to students' homes in Vancouver, BC Teach private

singing lessons

(30-60 minutes) to children, teens, and adults Customize lesson plans to suit each student's goals, interests, and learning style Teach vocal technique, ear training, breathing, performance skills, and musicality Prepare students for recitals, auditions, or personal performance goals
This position is perfect for voice teachers who enjoy one-on-one lessons, flexible scheduling, and helping students grow as confident singers.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have:

Strong vocal skills and training in singing or vocal performance Experience teaching private voice lessons to students of different ages and levels A positive, patient, and encouraging teaching style A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A passion for helping students express themselves through music

Compensation

Our starting rate is

$45.00-$50.00 per teaching hour.

While travel time is not included, we plan routes and schedules strategically to minimize driving so you can maximize your time spent teaching.

Schedule

Weekdays after 3:00 PM Optional weekend availability Flexible schedule -- you choose your preferred number of students and hours
