OverviewAre you enthusiastic about delivering level 2 support services for internal clients\' inquiries regarding telecommunication technology? Are you eager to gather customer requirements, diagnose issues, suggest solutions, and educate customers on telecommunication hardware, applications, and operating system software? We are seeking a Voice Specialist who can provide solution recommendations based on their technical expertise and industry best practices.In this position, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining telecommunication hardware and associated software products. As this is a client facing role you will be working from our Richmond office as required to service clients and occasionally from your home within the province of B.C.What you\'ll do

  • Manage Level 2 support for telecommunication setups in-house.
  • Coordinate installations of telecommunication and collaboration hardware with stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute implementation schedules for new systems, including phones and collaboration tools.
  • Handle hardware relocations per client requirements, configuring applications as needed.
  • Serve as a technical consultant, offering insights and exploring alternatives for project teams, while also tracking and analyzing incident trends and proposing improvements to standards and procedures.

  • Adapt and be Agile by keeping informed about new developments in voice communication technologies. Being adaptable and having a willingness to continuously learn and update skills in this rapidly evolving field is essential for success.
Your background and experience:
  • A Degree in Information Technology or a Computer Science related discipline.
  • A minimum of 6 years of directly related work experience in one of the following: Telecommunications technology support, Telecommunications systems implementation or Telecommunications systems planning.
