Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music education and experience working with children. As a Voice and /or Piano Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing students' musical talents, fostering their love for music, and helping them develop their skills in a supportive environment. This position requires creativity, patience, and the ability to engage students of various ages and skill levels.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to each student's individual needs and learning styles. Teach voice and/or piano techniques, music theory, and performance skills to students of all ages. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Organize recitals or performances to showcase students' achievements and build their confidence. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any areas for improvement. Maintain an organized classroom environment conducive to learning.

Skills

Experience in tutoring or teaching music is essential for this role. Ability to educate students on music theory, technique, and performance practices. Experience working with children is crucial for understanding their unique learning needs. A creative approach to teaching that includes the ability to incorporate fun activities related to music education. Familiarity with classroom management techniques to maintain an effective learning atmosphere.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
