VNOC Support team (Video Network Operations Center)

What we are looking for:
Hands-on experience in a broadcast and a technical support environment -- VNOC or Master Control experience is strongly preferred.
A professional with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and precise resolution of complex support escalations.
Solid technical aptitude
with working knowledge of video signal flow, broadcast systems, and IP-based technologies.
Ability to work calmly and think logically under pressure in a fast-moving, live environment.
A natural problem-solver who's motivated by challenges and continual learning.
Hands-on experience with encoders, transcoders, and monitoring dashboards (an asset).
Experienced in signal flow from acquisition to final transmission (an asset).
Strong understanding of SDI baseband routing using hardware router systems (an asset).
Knowledge of video formats (1080i, 720p), codecs (H.264/H.265), and MPEG-TS structure

Some of your responsibilities include:
Monitoring 1,000+ television channels to ensure broadcast quality and uptime.
Managing incident tickets -- opening, updating, and closing efficiently.
Performing content insertions and ensuring playout accuracy.
Operating broadcast automation, routing, and video playout software.
Investigating, diagnosing, and resolving signal or equipment issues.
Communicating clearly with clients and internal engineering and network teams.
Supporting live broadcasts and emergency operational events.
Assisting with system maintenance and infrastructure testing.
Participating in on-call rotations and flexible shift coverage as required.
What you must bring:
Current experience in a video broadcasting or live transmission environment.
Hands-on experience
with IP protocols (HLS, SRT, UDP) and video analysis tools such as FFmpeg, TSReader, StreamXpert, SDI analyzers, and routing systems.
Experience using network troubleshooting and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve connectivity or performance issues.
Strong technical and analytical skills, with a passion for troubleshooting.
Ability to make sound decisions under time pressure.
Excellent multitasking and organizational ability.
Strong written and verbal communication skills -

Compensation:
Compensation: $48,000 per year
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (Salary)
Compensation will be re-evaluated after the three-month probationary period, based on performance.
Schedule:
Rotating shifts -- mornings, afternoons, overnights
Monday to Sunday (includes weekends and holidays)
