Tecvative Inc is looking to hire a VMWare Consultant. In this role you need to have demonstrable and current experience of the latest versions of VMware technology, particularly with vRealize, VCF and NSX. You will act as technical expert for the related technology and provide technical consultancy to both technical and non-technical audiences in order to deliver projects based on specified requirements.

Responsibilities will include:

• You will be assisting in the management of roadmaps and designs.
• Speaking with the clients, customers, and vendors, leading technical conversations.
• Anticipating and planning for software and/or hardware end of life.
• Have an excellent level of technical expertise in VMWare & have knowledge of current best practice and industry trends.
• Engaging with stakeholders with continuous updates on progress of projects.

Typical Qualifications / Experience

• Bachelors/Masters or an equivalent degree
• At least five years of IT industry experience
• Experience in a Consultancy role (desirable)
• VMWare Certified specialist (VCP or VCAP)
• Candidate will ideally have up-to-date experience of the following VMWare technologies:

• VMware vSphere & vCenter\xe2\x80\x8b
• VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)\xe2\x80\x8b
• VMware NSX-T\xe2\x80\x8b
• VMware vSAN, ESXi
• VMware vRealize suite (in particular vRealize Automation and vRealize Operations)
• VMware design
• Design of VMWare Cloud NFV Solutions
• Good experience and techniques migrating VMware workloads to alternate platforms
• Experience working within monitoring tools and applications, (LogicMonitor, PRTG, SolarWinds)

NOTE: This is a Telecommute/Work from Home position.
