The Visual Merchandising Associate plays a key role in how clients experience in person. You will support the planning and execution of all in-store visual displays, including windows, mannequins, product presentations, and storytelling zones. Your work will ensure that every rail, table, and mannequin reflects the level of refinement and elegance our brands are known for.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for luxury fashion, loves styling, and feels confident balancing creativity with commercial awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Execution and Styling
Execute window displays, mannequins, and interior visual displays in line with guidelines and seasonal direction.
Style mannequins and product presentations with an elevated fashion sensibility that reflects our brands and target client.
Prepare product for visual use, including steaming, pinning, dressing forms, and organizing full looks.
Support visual styling for in-store events and appointments.
Store Layout and Product Presentation
Assist with floor moves, seasonal floor sets, and product rotations based on deliveries, inventory flow, and sales priorities.
Ensure all product placement, fixtures, signage, and display elements meet luxury standards and feel cohesive.
Help maintain size runs, spacing, and folding standards so the store always feels curated, not cluttered.
Brand Standards and Store Maintenance
Maintain displays throughout the day, ensuring they are clean, organized, and fully merchandised.
Monitor the condition of props, fixtures, lighting, and graphics, and report any issues to management.
Ensure that high-traffic areas, fitting rooms, and key brand zones always reflect the store aesthetic.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with the Store Manager and ownership team to execute visual plans and adapt them based on business needs.
Partner with the sales team to understand what clients are responding to and adjust visual presentations accordingly.
Share feedback on visual opportunities, bestsellers, and client reactions to displays.
Operational and Back-of-house Support
Assist with unpacking, organizing, and preparing new deliveries for visual presentation.
Maintain a tidy, organized back-of-house area for visual tools, props, and samples.
Follow all safety guidelines when using ladders, moving fixtures, and handling equipment.
Qualifications
1 to 2 years of experience in visual merchandising, luxury or premium retail, fashion styling, or a related field preferred.
Strong sense of aesthetic, styling, proportion, and color coordination, especially within luxury menswear and womenswear.
Ability to interpret and execute detailed visual direction, moodboards, and merchandising guidelines.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail setting with changing priorities.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and safely work with ladders and fixtures as required.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, positive attitude.
Passion for luxury fashion, tailoring, and premium brands.
