Overall Position Overview
The
Full Time
Visual Store Associate
is an individual who will support the execution of Visual Presentations within the store; including but not limited to, Styling, Props, and Displays. These actions are expected to be engaging, generate excitement, inspire, and attract customers, increase Sales while simultaneously communicating UNIQLO LIFEWEAR.
Understands the basics of UNQILO, manage all basic operations and store visuals in accordance with UNIQLO Rules, Policies, and Code of Conduct.
Be responsible for exceeding customer expectations by actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing product information to help them find the right items. Also contribute to maintaining the store's brand and operational standards, including visual presentation and cleanliness
Involving into merchandising planning and sales floor planning
Along with next season's Marketing and MD plan, create styling plan, and establish the business based on sales floor that focuses on styling.
Provide regular, ongoing visual merchandising instruction aligned with our corporate brand image
Set visual merchandising strategy to achieve the store sales business result and store KPI (such as sales generation, customer satisfaction, etc.)
Establish best practices related to assortment display and placement, provide ongoing instruction related to implementation of merchandise
Actively solicit feedback from Store Management and Store Operations teams providing direction to foster continuous improvement
Take part in planning of country wide window/in-store calendar based on company strategy
Join daily meetings with store management team and also conduct daily walk-through and provide creative inputs as it pertains to floor presentation, window display and product styling
Collaborate with marketing team to define all in-store communication
Manage headquarter graphic designer's timelines, directives, production process, outside vendors and aligning all designs based on GHQ
Manage all weekly, monthly styling working with layout team and utilizing company's concepts based on monthly layout
Manage and create concepts for all window styling based on company's guideline
Control department budgetary expenses
Train and develop team members
Additional duties as assigned by Store Management and Area Manager
Desired Skills and Experiences
Minimum of 2+ years of leadership experience as sales associate or sales advisor with high sense of visual merchandising with fashion forward apparel retailer
Interested in fashion, and fond of creating coordinate and editing sales floor.
Strong passion to offer new value to the customers through Uniqlo products, and approach Uniqlo's new fashion style to the world.
Ability to collaborate cross functionally to achieve brand visions in stores
Ability to work a team for within same department and across departments and/or teams. Cross-sectional communication skill with other departments
Ability to adapt to a challenging and fast paced environment. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
Strong ability to communicate ideas, concept story and lead teams from conception to execution including to connect execution with business result.
Always make effort into leaning new trend or information, and work with a team.
Ability to travel to various UNIQLO locations within Canada.
Business trip may require across city or region

We offer competitive compensation for associates starting at $18.00/hour commensurate on relevant previous experience and opportunities for promotion every 3 months.
