Visual Inspector MDS Coating is the world leader in designing and manufacturing erosion and corrosion resistant coatings for gas turbine engine compressor systems for aerospace. Over the last 25 years, we have delivered over 8 million compressor airfoils to global customers who have realized decreased operational and maintenance costs, fuel savings, and engine performance retention benefits. Our award-winning coatings are approved by all major engine manufacturers. MDS Coating is expanding and looking to add a determined detailed-oriented person to its team of Visual Inspectors. At MDS Coating, as a Visual Inspector you can expect to:

• Inspect: Inspectors are responsible for inspecting customer parts and ensuring they meet all identified requirements. A keen eye for detail will be instrumental in identifying any imperfections or defects.
• Adhere to Standards: Execute tasks according to established quality standards.
• Prepare Reports: Prepare and authorize Certificates of Test, Test Reports and Certificates of Conformance.
• Document and Report: Maintain detailed records of inspections, providing clear and concise reports on findings. Insights will contribute to refining our processes and maintaining our commitment to excellence.
• Collaborate: Work with our team of engineers and scientists to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions.
• Innovate: Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies. Identify inefficiencies and work within MDS Coating\xe2\x80\x99s culture of Continuous Improvement to make impactful change.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards.
• Proven experience as a Visual Inspector or in a related role.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Aerospace quality experience an asset
• Continuous improvement experience or Six Sigma certification an asset
• Ability to use Microsoft suite of products and a demonstrated ability to learn to use new computer software.
• The ability to effectively communicate and write in English is required.
