Job Description

This is an in-person position.Aveda Institute Winnipeg is currently accepting applications for a full time Visual Designer at 40 hours per week. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly collaborative individual who is detail-oriented, skilled in video creation, and most importantly, passionate about building strong relationships with our guests and community.Responsibilities include:

• Filming and editing video and podcast content using Adobe After Effects, Premier Pro and Audition

• Support our team in creating a high volume of short-form Tiktok content

• Taking photographs to be used in salon promotion

• Designing digital and print collateral for in-house promotions and events

• Web design and management with Squarespace and Shopify

Our ideal candidate will also possess:

• Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design or similar

• Excellent communication skills

• High level of attention to detail

• Ability to thrive in a team environment

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript

• Experienced in all Adobe Suite applications

• Interest and experience in short- and long-form video content
