Job Description

We are seeking an individual with a passion for teaching and a commitment to creating an engaging learning environment for our students. The successful candidate will help our school reach its vision of providing a quality learning environment that educates, inspires and empowers individuals. As a teacher, you will be responsible for teaching students who are at the elementary and/or secondary education stage. Responsibilities:

• Manage and educate students in a classroom setting.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans.
• Adhere to established teaching curriculum.
• Maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
• Document and share student grades and evaluations.
• Maintain the health and safety of all students.

Requirements:

• Love art education.
• Leadership and interpersonal connection.
• University degree specialized in visual arts programs.
• Experienced in traditional mediums (drawing, painting, mixed media, sculpture, printmaking).
• Be familiar with Ontario Curriculum of Arts.
• Be skilled in using office software, Google classroom and relevant electronic devices.
• Skills of perspective drawing, plein air, drawn and painted figure, knowledge about psychology, are the assets.
