Edwin Education is seeking a passionate Secondary Art Teacher for a school in the beautiful area of York in northern England. Canadian-trained and registered teachers are very welcome to apply, so why not combine your love of travel and your passion for teaching on a new UK adventure?

About the role / school

• This school in York is looking to secure an experienced Secondary Art Teacher, starting in September 2023 and ideally until the end of the school year 2024

About the location

• York is a stunning cathedral city in the north east of England, full of history with a fantastic range of museums, art galleries and many attractions. The Yorkshire Moors and Dales are close by for keen walkers and literature lovers (Bronte country!), all this just an hour or two from many other cities to visit, such as Manchester and Edinburgh.

To succeed in this role, candidates will have:

• Bachelor of Education / Post Graduate Diploma of Education / or equivalent teaching degree with current teacher registration
• Eligibility to work in the UK (must have valid visa with working rights)
• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Bachelor of Education / Post Graduate Diploma of Education / or equivalent teaching degree with current teacher registration
