Part-Time Classical Violin Instructor
to teach private, one-on-one lessons in our brand-new studios.
What You'll Do
Teach engaging private lessons in classical violin technique, repertoire, sight-reading, and music theory for students of all ages--from beginners to advanced performers.
Design individualized lesson plans aligned with students' goals, with a strong foundation in traditional and classical repertoire, RCM levels, and orchestral excerpts.
Prepare students for recitals, RCM examinations, auditions, and other performance opportunities.
Cultivate a positive, motivating studio atmosphere that encourages discipline, creativity, and confidence.
Coordinate scheduling with our administrative team and start every lesson on time.
Required Qualifications
Minimum five (5) years of proven private-lesson teaching experience in
classical violin
.
Formal education in music--Bachelor's or Diploma in Music, Music Education, or equivalent specialization in violin performance/pedagogy.
Recognized teaching credential (e.g., RCM Violin Teacher certification or equivalent) is a strong asset.
Excellent interpersonal skills--patient, enthusiastic, and able to connect with children, teens, and adult learners.
Flexible part-time availability, including at least one evening or Saturday teaching block.
Professionalism and teamwork: punctual, organized, and committed to a supportive learning environment.
