Job Description

Malley Industries has an immediate opening for a vinyl graphics producer. Our ideal candidate is an individual who possesses a keen eye for detail and can print, laminate, cut and weed out vinyl graphics to meet the high standards of our customers. The vinyl graphics producer is responsible for making complete vinyl graphics kits for installation on emergency vehicles and creating a variety of stickers and labels.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:



Experience with SAI Flexi or similar print/cut software

Experience with wide format digital printing, lamination, and plotter/cutter production

Ability to perform regular equipment maintenance and troubleshoot equipment when required

Ability to weed and mask vinyl and prepare vinyl graphics kits for jobs

Ability to prioritize and work fast under tight deadlines in a factory environment

Ability to provide quotes for customers

Must have a good understanding of the vinyl industry and various types of materials used

Must have a good understanding of measurements (metric and imperial) and be able to calculate sq. ft. and yards

Valid driver's license

Ability to install graphics (including reflective, paint protection film, and window tinting) preferred

Graphic design experience is a definite asset

Manual dexterity, fine manipulation and the ability to lift vinyl rolls up to 50 lbs

Work in cooperation with sales/marketing and production staff to ensure customer satisfaction

Requires frequent lifting, standing, reaching, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time

Responsible for maintaining inventory and keeping track of what materials are used on jobs

Experience with creating graphics proofs and preparing proofs for print at scale an asset but not required

Hours of Work:



Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Friday, 8 a.m. - noon

Job Type:

Full-time, permanent, modern factory.

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience.
