We are looking for an experienced and creative Video Editor to join our team! As a Video Editor at our company, you will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing photos and videos for internal and external purposes. As video has become the best way for communicating company\'s messages on online platforms, your position will play an important role in our company\'s success. Responsibilities:
- Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
- Take a brief to grasp production team\xe2\x80\x99s needs and specifications
- Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes\xe2\x80\x99 value and contribution to continuity
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
- Create rough and final cuts
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
- Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry\xe2\x80\x99s best practices to maximize efficiency.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field.
- Previous work experience as a video editor.
- Hands-on experience with editing software, including Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, and Premier.
- Creative and artistic skills.
- Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects.
- Portfolio of completed film productions.
- Ability to work to a tight schedule.
- Ability to translate ideas into complete projects.
