Joining MM is helping build the foundations of a new team and being integral to daily innovation. As Video Editor, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be receiving projects directly from our Client-Facing Team. You will be responsible for managing your timelines and meeting the agreed upon delivery dates. We need someone who knows the editing and color grading workflow within Adobe Creative Suite and/or DaVinci Resolve inside and out. Having experience with motion graphics design through After Effects is also a huge plus! WHAT YOU DO

• Edit marketing videos like promos, interviews, and commercials for clients as per Project Manager or Marketing Coordinator\xe2\x80\x99s instructions.
• Have a good understanding and the right equipment for color grading.
• Have a clear understanding of both video and audio post processing.
• Be open to receiving and adjusting to constructive feedback.
• Understanding and implementing requests within a client\xe2\x80\x99s voice.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects, Illustrator and Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve
• Strong visual communication design skills
• Basic knowledge of graphic design and fonts
• Ability and willingness to learn new software
• Ability to understand and follow brand guidelines
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work 9-5 CST hours, Monday through Friday
• Access to high speed, reliable internet
• Access to technology that can sustain regular 1080p workflows. If your system can handle 4K workflows, all the better!
• Fluent in English

The schedule is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm CST. Applicants must be in Montreal, Quebec. The starting fixed-rate is CAD $42,000 annually. Contract includes paid holidays and paid time off.
