Reporting to the Digital Marketing and Communications Manager, the Content Creator is a creative storyteller who shares a passion for telling compelling visual stories of our brand, products, and people. You are a social media savant and thrive in digital spaces. You will be an integral part of the Marketing team and work closely with the content and social media specialist to ideate and create stunning visual content to elevate the brand and ignite conversations around the brand.The goal of this position is to be a key member in maintaining and building a sustainable, adaptable, customer-responsive company adhering to the core values of:

- InnovationPlease include a link to your portfolio. Applicants without a portfolio will not be considered for this role.- Conceptualize, shoot, and edit high quality and engaging video content for SUNPAN\'s social media channels and website, to drive engagement and brand awareness.
- Produce and package social-media friendly creative assets including but not limited to product videos, staff/customer videos, trade show content, carousels.
- Organize and host interviews with customers and staff to produce captivating digital content for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
- Collaborate with the content and social media specialist to develop content calendar and organize brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas that are ahead of the curve.
- Retouch and enhance video quality, as needed, through colour correction, audio mixing, and other post-production techniques.
- Pitch content ideas to the management that will set SUNPAN apart in the social media landscape while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Build storyboards to execute on the creative vision and assist in the development of innovative social media templates.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of SUNPAN\'s customers and capture content that resonates with them.
- Assist in planning and coordinating photoshoots and video productions with the creative director.
- Monitor and understand competitor social media and communication strategies; provide reports of trending tactics.
- Working over weekends during key trade shows and pre-scheduled shoots is an essential part of this role.
- Other ad hoc duties as assignedKEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- \xef\xbb\xbfProficiency in shooting and editing short form and long form video content. Please include a link to your portfolio.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a social media producer/editor with a proven track record of digital storytelling, audience growth and high engagement.
- Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign.
- Experience with colour grading, audio mixing, and visual effects.
- Familiarity with typography, colour theory and layout principles.
- Strong understanding of video editing principles including pacing, timing, and storytelling.
- Organization and time management skills are a must: This role will be responsible for a series of projects and will require strong attention to detail.
