Victim Services Worker
Job Description
Under the direction of the Executive Director of Victim Services of Algoma, to support the needs of victims of crime and tragic circumstance and provide a full range of trauma-informed, victim-centered supportive services, including needs assessment, crisis intervention, case coordination, information sharing, emotional support and referrals to other community services.
One full-time 40 hour/week position is located at 180 Brock St in Sault Ste. Marie.
As a condition of hiring, the successful candidate must possess a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, vehicle insurance and a current CPIC check.
To provide crisis response to victims of crime and tragic circumstance in the Sault Ste. Marie and surrounding area. Response will be provided remotely. After hours and weekend assistance may also be required.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
