Program Overview
The Victaulic Sales Professional Development Program is a
full-time permanent position
designed for ambitious recent graduates ready to launch their sales career in Canada's thriving industrial sector. This comprehensive program combines intensive training, extensive hands-on field experience, and dedicated mentorship to prepare you for success in the
Fort McMurray territory
- one of Canada's most dynamic industrial markets.
Program Structure:
Phase 1:
3-Month Intensive Sales Training (includes travel across multiple provinces for hands-on experience)
Phase 2:
Fort McMurray Territory Development with full territory management responsibility
Phase 1: 3-Month Intensive Sales Training
Hands-On Training Rotations:
Work in Victaulic Fabrication Shop
Experience in Customer Fabrication Shop
Extensive on-site work at Customer Jobsites with site representatives
(following fabrication to installation when possible)
Training at Victaulic Tool Company
Engineering Group exposure
1-2 weeks in Victaulic Design Center
Customer Care experience (local branch)
Local Distributor Branch immersion
Multi-province travel for comprehensive field experience
Multi-Market Exposure & Development:
In-depth presentations on key topics including Territory Intelligence Center (TIC), competitive landscape analysis, territory SWOT assessment, and tool expertise
Intensive role-play scenarios and direct mentorship from experienced National Sales Manager - Energy
Hands-on experience with high-profile job sites and fabrication facilities across different provinces
Learning Outcomes:
Gain comprehensive understanding of Victaulic's diverse markets, products, solutions, and selling strategies while working directly with contractors, engineers, distributors, and site representatives.
Phase 2: Fort McMurray Territory Development
Upon successful completion of the 3-month sales training, you will transition to your role in
Fort McMurray, Alberta
. You'll work closely with the National Sales Manager -Energy, and experienced sales professionals with dedicated territory management responsibility.

Qualifications:
Recent College or University graduate (any degree acceptable)

Team player with outgoing personality
Previous sales or customer service experience is an asset
Must be open to relocation to Fort McMurray

Must possess a clean driver's abstract and valid driver's license
