Nous recherchons un(e) vice-president(e), Ingenierie, visionnaire et d'experience, pour diriger les equipes d'ingenierie de notre unite d'affaires Travel E-Commerce . La personne ideale sera responsable de definir et de piloter la vision technique, la strategie et l'execution de notre plateforme de voyage en ligne sur plusieurs canaux B2B et B2C, tout en assurant l'evolutivite et la fiabilite de nos solutions. Alors que HTS diversifie son offre au-dela de son grand public avec des solutions fintech distribuees et des portails de fidelisation en marque blanche, la personne titulaire de ce poste jouera un role cle dans la livraison d'une plateforme backend et frontend modulaire et composable, facile a configurer et a lancer pour un large eventail d'applications de commerce electronique de voyage.
Ce role consiste a diriger une douzaine d'equipes d'ingenierie logicielle organisees en quelques equipes differentes, a collaborer avec les parties prenantes des equipes produit et commerciales, et a livrer des solutions de haute qualite qui enchantent nos partenaires et leurs clients.
About the role
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Vice President of Engineering to lead our Travel E-Commerce business unit engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and driving the technical vision, strategy, and execution for our online travel platform across several B2B and B2C channels, while ensuring scalability and reliability of our solutions.
As HTS diversifies its offering beyond its consumer channel, distributed fintech solutions, and loyalty white-label portals, the incumbent will play a key role in delivering a modular and composable platform that can be easily configured and launched in a wide array of travel e-commerce solutions. This role involves leading a dozen engineering teams organized in a handful of verticals, collaborating with product and business stakeholders, and delivering high-quality solutions that delight our partners and their customers.

Piloter l'adoption des meilleures pratiques en matiere de developpement, de test et de deploiement de logiciels, en privilegiant l'impact sur la simple adhesion aux processus.
Maintenir une velocite de developpement elevee.
Surveiller la performance des systemes et identifier les pistes d'optimisation.
Jouer un role actif dans la conception organisationnelle, le recrutement et l'amelioration des processus.

What would your day-to-day look like:
Develop and implement a technical strategy to support the Travel E-Commerce business unit's ambitious goals, in the context of rapidly changing technical landscape (ex. Generative AI)
Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership and delivering results
Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our online platform, serving billions of dollars of yearly travel sales
Collaborate closely with product management, design, and business teams to define and deliver product roadmaps.
Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, testing, and deployment, with a strong bias for impact over process adherence
Maintain high development velocity
Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization.
Take an active role in organizational design, recruitment and process improvements.

Les candidat(e)s ideaux:
Possede plus de 10 ans d'experience en genie logiciel, dont au moins 5 ans dans un role de haute direction.
Demontre une experience reconnue dans la direction d'equipes d'ingenierie performantes et dans la livraison de resultats probants.

A perfect candidate has:
10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams and delivering results
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong technical acumen - experience leading complex, composable front-end and back-end system architecture designs and implementations
Good understanding of e-commerce platforms
Experience with travel industry technology (flights, hotels)
Strong expertise in cloud-based technologies.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience building and operating large scale information systems with high performance, reliability and throughput.
Experience gathering business requirements, formulating metrics and making data driven decisions.
