Overview:

We are currently looking for a seasoned leader to drive the communications and branding success of Nordia, Canada\xe2\x80\x99s largest provider of customer service.

Working closely with members of the executive team, you are an engaged and solid contributor ready to take a front seat in shaping strategy and propelling Nordia to the next level. Your knowledge and proven expertise in public relations and communications will be essential to succeeding in this role.

This is a hybrid position at our head office in Laval. Responsibilities:

Corporate strategy:

  • Work closely with the CEO and senior executive team to develop and implement comprehensive corporate strategies to complete business objectives and achieve long-term strategic goals;
  • Build compelling communication strategies and plans to promote understanding and support for key corporate initiatives.
Branding and communications:
  • Protect and elevate the company\'s branding strategy to enhance corporate visibility and reputation across various channels, including traditional media and digital platforms;
  • Leverage social media and other online platforms to enhance brand visibility and engage with key audiences;
  • Create and maintain a positive external presence through effective media relations, community relations and social media strategies;
  • Provide oversight for corporate communication strategies, ensuring clear, consistent and transparent messaging to all stakeholders;
  • Promote a positive corporate culture and effectively communicate corporate vision and priorities.
Executive support:
  • Provide strategic support to the senior leadership team in the development and execution of key initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives;
  • Share your presentation mastery to enhance executive communications (manager calls, offsite meetings, Board of Directors, etc.)
Qualifications:

To be successful in this position:
  • A generalist, a problem-solver, with an innate sense of curiosity;
  • At least seven (7) years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a communications function;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills;
  • Proven experience in corporate communications, communications tools and channels, and brand management;
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to build and implement effective communication plans with clear and compelling messages;
  • Demonstrated success in managing media relations, corporate visibility and other stakeholder relationships;
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels;
  • Fluency in both French and English is essential given the international nature of our business.
