You will start your day by strategizing how to establish Consors' presence in the market, setting clear goals, and prioritizing efforts to lay a solid foundation for success. Much of your time will be spent networking and developing relationships with potential clients, industry partners, and stakeholders, identifying opportunities to secure projects and grow the practice. You will collaborate closely with your team, recruiting top talent, shaping a collaborative culture, and fostering a shared vision of innovation and excellence. As you take on initial projects, you will roll up your sleeves to guide the delivery of solutions, ensuring technical excellence and exceeding client expectations. Reviewing financial forecasts, resource plans, and market trends will help inform your decisions as you chart the course for sustainable growth. By the end of the day, you will focus on strategic planning, laying the groundwork for a thriving division that delivers long-term value for clients and the organization.
What You'll Do:

Serve as the primary leader driving the performance, culture, and success of the Water/Wastewater group.
Develop and implement strategies that align with corporate goals and respond to market trends.
Represent the organization as an industry leader through conferences, events, and publications.
Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier engineering and consulting professionals.
Foster professional growth through training, career development, and feedback.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and regulatory agencies.
Oversee the delivery of high-quality projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
Lead negotiations and function as a trusted advisor to clients.
Manage the groups P&L to achieve financial targets and sustainable growth.
Drive operational efficiency through effective resource planning, technology adoption, and process optimization.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement strategies.
What You'll Need:
:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada.
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in water/wastewater engineering or civil infrastructure consulting.
Proven history of managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex infrastructure projects.
Visionary leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide high-performing teams.
Strong client relationship management and business development expertise.
Financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and P&L.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking abilities.
Commitment to innovation, sustainability, and industry excellence.
PMP or similar project management certifications (an asset).
