Job Description

Our client, a rapidly growing PE-backed company in the 3PL sector, is seeking a Vice President, Supply Chain.
The successful candidate will be based at the company's head office in Toronto and will take on a senior leadership role overseeing the end-to-end supply chain function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full supply chain function, including manufacturing, procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Partner closely with the executive team to design and implement scalable processes that drive efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead transformation initiatives aimed at strengthening supplier relationships, optimizing inventory management, and enhancing service levels.
  • Develop and mentor high-performing teams across multiple locations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between business strategy and supply chain operations.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (advanced degree is an asset).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations, preferably in 3PL or distribution-intensive environments.
  • Proven experience as a Vice President of Supply Chain, with prior experience as a Director of Manufacturing & Supply Chain.
  • PE-backed company experience is required.
  • Proven track record of success in Manufacturing, procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Demonstrated success in leading supply chain organizations through growth or transformation phases.
  • Strong business acumen with expertise in vendor negotiations, cost management, and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across executive and operational teams.
  • Experience with ERP systems and data-driven decision-making.
