Job Overview

Join us as the Vice President of Business Development, a crucial part of our executive leadership team. You\'ll report to the CEO and lead our Partner Channels, BDRs, and Advisory/PE Influence Channels, integrating our enterprise go-to-market strategies aligning into every aspect of our execution plans across the various channels.

What You\'ll Do * Partner Channels (ISV Partners):

  • Expand and manage ISV partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic ISV partnerships, utilizing advanced partner relationship management tools.
  • Develop marketing initiatives: Collaborate with the marketing team to create tailored marketing campaigns for ISV partners, with a data-driven approach.
  • Set and monitor key performance metrics: Implement analytics tools to track partnership effectiveness and ROI in real-time.
  • Refine and optimize execution playbooks: Continuously evolve our strategies to align with the evolving market landscape and our playbook for sustainable growth with our DevOps, ML/AI, Generative AI Tools and model partners.
  • Business Development Reps (BDRs):
  • Strategically develop and expand the BDR team: Identify top sales talent and provide BDRs with real-time insights for lead prioritization.
  • Direct the team towards achieving pipeline growth: Implement lead scoring and routing systems to focus on high-potential prospects.
  • Refine and optimize execution playbooks: Collaborate with the BDR team to develop and enhance our playbook for scalable growth, ensuring alignment with evolving market dynamics.
  • Advisory/PE Influence Channels:
  • Build and nurture relationships with advisory and PE firms: Use CRM systems to identify key decision-makers in advisory and PE firms and tailor marketing efforts accordingly.
  • Measure the impact of targeted marketing strategies: Implement attribution models to gauge marketing effectiveness and identify engagement opportunities.
  • Build and iterate execution playbooks: Continuously adapt and optimize our engagement strategies with advisory and PE firms, refining our playbook for maximum influence in the industry.
What You Bring
  • Extensive experience in business development, including ISV partnerships, BDR management, and advisory/PE engagement (10+ years).
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to set clear objectives.
  • Skilled in developing and executing business development plans aligned with company goals.
  • Proven track record of data-driven marketing campaigns and achieving pipeline growth.
  • Flexible and adaptable to market changes, with a capacity to evolve strategies.
  • A master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a relevant field is desired.
  • Expertise in building and managing small high-performing teams, leveraging the latest tech stack and approaches to exceed results.
  • Prior experience in enterprise B2B tech/tech-enabled services businesses.
  • Experience working in profitable founder-led tech companies is a plus.
