is directly responsible for planning and directing all aspects of the organization's corporate services (Finance, IT, etc.,) operational policies, objectives, and initiatives. To this end, the
Vice President, Corporate Services
will focus on the ongoing, day-to-day management of the organizations business model and internal processes to ensure maximum productivity and revenue.
Key Accountabilities
Financial Leadership
Lead all aspects of finance, including:
Financial strategy, planning, and reporting
Project accounting (lump sum, cost-reimbursable, JV structures)
Banking, surety, bonding, and treasury relationships
Risk management, insurance, and claims awareness
Provide financial insight and challenge executive decision-making
Ensure financial discipline while enabling growth and innovation
Technology & Digital Enablement
Provide executive oversight of IT and enterprise systems
Lead digital modernization initiatives (ERP, project systems, automation, data analytics)
Translate technology investments into improved margins, scalability, and decision quality
Champion business-led technology, not infrastructure-driven IT
Corporate Services Leadership
Interface with all departments of the organization to ensure that strategic plans are aligned with daily operations.
Foster, develop and collaboration between departments, business units, and other internal groups to ensure an integrated approach to operations and fulfilling the organization's goals and objectives.
Develop and implement new business strategies for creating or improving processes and procedures to improve corporate performance.
Communicate key information to departments and business units regarding preconstruction, operations, human resources, competitive environment, cost management, and other areas.
Contribute to long-range planning, capital deployment, and growth strategy.
Participate in go/no-go decisions and major pursuit strategies.
Represent NAC with external stakeholders, including lenders, partners, advisors, and clients.
Lead and direct program development, work culture enhancement, consensus-building, and internal communications.
Manage, motivate, and mentor all company line managers as specified by the organizational chart.
Ensure proper reporting structure within and between all business units and/or departments.
Monitor departmental performance against goals to ensure that progress is being made, and that corrective action is taken if necessary.
Meet regularly with department heads/business unit leaders; facilitate resolution of issues/problems between business units and/or departments.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline; CPA, CFA or equivalent designation preferred. MBA strongly preferred.
10+ years of progressive senior finance leadership experience, preferably within construction, infrastructure, EPC, or other capital-intensive, project-based environments.
Strong understanding of project economics, risk management, contract structures, margin drivers, and alternative delivery models, including joint ventures.
Exposure to IT, digital transformation initiatives, or enterprise systems leadership.
Strategic thinker with a practical, hands-on leadership style and strong business acumen and commercial orientation.
Proven ability to influence across disciplines and build credibility with operations, executive leadership, and external stakeholders.
High integrity, sound judgment, and strong alignment with organizational values.
Collaborative, disciplined, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment.
