The Role
We are seeking a
Vice President, Clinical Operations
to champion innovative care solutions at Broadmead Care. Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, you will provide strategic leadership of clinical operations and oversee the delivery of safe, person-centred care across all Broadmead Care homes and programs. This is an opportunity to influence system-level change while leading a multi-million-dollar portfolio and fostering a culture of excellence, learning, and innovation.
What You'll Do
The Vice President, Clinical Operations holds operational accountability for clinical care and community programs. You will guide policy and program development, lead quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements. With oversight of an annual budget of approximately $20M, you will manage financial and human resources while driving clinical advancement and continuous improvement.
Key priorities include:
Championing a culture of teamwork and innovation to deliver exceptional, person-centred care.
Leading accreditation, risk management, and emergency preparedness initiatives.
Supporting leadership development, succession planning, and clinical education.
Promoting equity, diversity, inclusion, and cultural safety across all programs.
Representing Broadmead Care with government, health authorities, and external partners.
Leading the Clinical Operations of various growth initiatives.

What You Bring
You are a senior healthcare leader with a passion for advancing care quality and system performance. With at least 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in a unionized, multi-site environment, you bring deep expertise in seniors' care and an understanding of the complexities of long-term and community-based healthcare.
Education & Experience
Registered Nurse (RN), or other regulated health profession eligible for registration in British Columbia (i.e. Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, etc.)
Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or a related healthcare leadership discipline (preferred).
7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in a unionized, multi-site healthcare environment.
Strong clinical background in seniors' care; experience with behavioural health or complex populations is an asset.
Skills & Competencies

Proven ability to lead strategic planning, program development, and large-scale change initiatives.
Financial and operational acumen, with experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets.

Skilled relationship-builder, able to collaborate effectively with physicians, health authorities, government partners, and community stakeholders.
Ability to foster equity, diversity, inclusion, and cultural safety across programs and services.
Additional Requirements
Reliable transportation and valid BC driver's license to travel between sites.
Eligible to work with vulnerable adults under the BC Criminal Records Review Program.
Proof of negative TB screen and immunization status.
