Job Skills / Requirements

Position: Security Guard

Site: VFS UK

City: DT Toronto

Status: Full-Time

Hours: Mon-Fri (0800 - 1630)

Pay Rate: $15.50 /hr.

Description: Working on assigned shifts, you will provide proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to emergencies in a quick and efficient manner. You will be required to screen incoming visitors as well as conduct occasional patrols.

At the time of the interview applicant must be able to produce proof of completion of the following prerequisites: * Immunization Record

• A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Proficient in English (both oral and written)

Successful completion of the following requirements provided by Paladin are mandatory prior to placement: * First Aid & CPR \xe2\x80\x93 Level C

• Management of Aggressive Behavior
• Use of Force
• Report Writing
• Additional courses as assigned

Upon hire successful applicants will be required to complete the following Paladin online courses:

• Successful completion of Paladin\xe2\x80\x99s online Patrol Procedures
• Successful completion of Paladin\xe2\x80\x99s online Diversity Awareness

• Successful completion of Paladin\xe2\x80\x99s online Dealing with People with Mental Illness
• Successful completion of Paladin\xe2\x80\x99s online Workplace Respect
• Successful completion of Paladin\xe2\x80\x99s online Slips, Trips and Falls
• Additional courses as assigned
