About the Role:



This role involves a wide variety of responsibilities, giving you the chance to make a real impact every day. Your skills will be used to support patients from check-in to recovery, and everything in between.

Key Responsibilities:



Collect samples, take radiographs, and perform TPRs and patient history for appointments Provide care to hospitalized patients and assist with procedures Perform catheter placements, dental cleanings, and assist with dentistry Blood and urine collection, and conducting in-house lab tests Assist with surgery: prepping, monitoring anesthesia, and patient recovery Dispense and prepare medications under veterinary instruction Educate clients on pet care, including nutrition and post-visit care Perform nail trims and minor grooming Clean/disinfect kennels and surgical areas Facilitate admissions and discharges, including payment processing Answer phones and provide client support as needed Unpack and organize supply orders; assist with inventory management

Qualifications & Skills:



Mandatory:

1-2 years of experience in a veterinary setting

Preferred:

RVT diploma or equivalent emergency hospital experience Organized, dependable, and committed to patient care Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment Friendly and empathetic with both animals and people Eagerness to learn and grow within the team

Education:



Graduate of an accredited Veterinary Technician program is an

asset

Demonstrated experience and training in a clinical setting required
