Animal Hospital IN GTA is interested in hiring a Veterinary Tech/Assistant to assist in the care of our animal patients. The successful candidate will be responsibleforAssist the Veterinarian with routine patient appointments and surgical proceduresAssisting the Veterinarian during surgical procedures and cleaning and storing the surgical instruments when the procedure is over.Ensure all surgical equipment is properly sterilized and storedCollect and preserve laboratory samples that must be shipped offsite for more comprehensive testingPrepare appointment rooms prior to scheduled patient visitsExcellent knowledge of Avimark, animal handling techniques, work flexible hours and proven customer service is valued.New Grads welcomeJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $16.75-$24.00 per hourCOVID-19 considerations:Need all COVD 19 Protocols to be followedExperience:
- Veterinary Assistant: 2 years (preferred)
- Veterinary Receptionist: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer Service: 2 years (preferred)
Part-time hours: 30-40 per weekSalary: $16.96-$24.51 per hourBenefits:
