We are seeking a dedicated and caring Veterinary Technician to join our team. If you are passionate about animal health and committed to working in a positive, diverse environment, we want to hear from you!
Only qualified candidates with 1-2 years of hands-on Veterinary Technician experience should apply.
What You'll Do:
Assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, and dental procedures
Perform diagnostic tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and radiographs
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments under veterinary guidance
Monitor patient vital signs and provide attentive post-operative care
Maintain accurate medical records and manage patient admissions/discharges
Educate pet owners about preventive care, nutrition, and at-home health
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilization and kennel care
Assist with inventory management and clinic supply orders as needed
Occasionally support front desk duties such as answering phone calls
What We're Looking For:
Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program or equivalent experience in Canada
Certification or licensure as a Veterinary Technician is preferred
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a veterinary technician in Canada
Compassionate, patient, and able to handle animals with care and confidence
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinic environment and multitask effectively
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Availability to work Saturdays is required
