Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments while ensuring the comfort and well-being of our animal patients.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian Monitor animal patients' vital signs and overall health during procedures Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventive health measures Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including equipment sterilization Provide compassionate care to animals in distress or pain

Experience

Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician. Laboratory experience is highly desirable to perform diagnostic tests efficiently Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail A valid veterinary technician license is preferred.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
