Veterinary Technician

to join our growing team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients and supporting our veterinarians in delivering exceptional medical services.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures Perform laboratory tests (bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal exams, etc.) Prepare and monitor patients for anesthesia and recovery Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed Educate and support pet owners with discharge instructions and care guidance Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation Handle various species of animals with confidence, including dogs, cats Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment.
Qualifications

Completion of a Veterinary Technician program (or equivalent experience) Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) designation preferred but not required Strong animal handling and technical skills Provide proper restraint techniques for animals during examinations and procedures. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Excellent communication and client service skills Compassion and dedication to animal health and welfare

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
