VETERINARY RECEPTION POSITION AT WESTBANK ANIMAL CARE HOSPITAL
Westbank Animal Care Hospital is looking for a receptionist to join our team!

Westbank Animal Care Hospital is looking for an outgoing people person, with excellent customer service skills who loves fawning over furry patients. The successful applicant will have a sense of humour, be passionate about client, as well as patient care and take pride in a job well done. Veterinary experience or completion of the VHA/VOA program is preferred but not required. Must be available for evening shifts (until 6:30pm) and some Saturdays (9am-4pm).

Starting salary to range from $19-$21per hour based on experience.

Duties

- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Assist with billing and processing payments
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, and staff
- Keep the reception area clean and organized

Requirements

- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic computer skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
