We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. Your ability to multitask and maintain a warm, welcoming environment will be essential in ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
Duties
Greet clients and their pets with a friendly demeanor as they arrive at the clinic.
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
Process client payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Assist veterinarians and technicians with administrative tasks as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room.
Handle client concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring satisfaction.
Manage laboratory samples, including proper labeling and documentation (laboratory experience is preferred).
Experience
Previous experience in a veterinary or medical office setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and staff.
Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers, telephones, and scheduling software.
Laboratory experience is a plus, enhancing your ability to assist with various tasks within the clinic.
